Guitarist Mattias Windemo was born in Sandviken in the north of Sweden in 1970.
At the age of fifteen he became a student at the prestigious swedish music school of Ingesund in Arvika. 
Two years later he became one of the youngest ever students at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
